Aestheric rhinoseptoplasty is a nose surgery that is performed in order to improve the aesthetics or harmony of the nose.

It may or may not also have correction of the nasal septum. In this surgery, the objective is to generate a change in the appearance of the patient´s nose without affecting the patient´s nasal breathing function. It can be open or closed.

Open technique is when a cut is made in the columnella, a structure that divides both nostrils, leaving a small scar on the skin, this technique is used when the patient has already had previous nasal surgeries, nasal manipulation with threads or hyaluronic acid, this technique provides better exposure of the tissues and provide a better result.

Close technique, the surgery is performed through the nostrils without leaving any external scar.

The type of technique used must be assessed in each patient in order to provide the best result.
