The concha bullosa is the presence of an air bubble inside the middle turbinate, it can present unilaterally or bilaterally and with different degrees of involvement, causing symptoms of nasal obstruction or generating sinusitis.

The treatment is surgical, being generally performed together with some other nasal procedure most of the time.
