Tympanic Perforation

It is the hole or rip in the eardrum.

Its symptoms are pain that usually subsides quickly, discharge with pus or blood coming out of the ear, hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), vertigo, nausea, etc.

Many of the times the hole closed by itself under the care indicated by the otolaryngologist, but in others medical or surgical treatment is needed.
