Functional rhinoplasty

Functional rhinoseptoplasty is a nose surgery that is performed with the aim of improving the patient´s respiratory function.

In this surgery, the correction of the deviated or crocked septum is carried out, in addition to the alignment of the nose´s own bones, which usually give the nose the external appearance of being crocked.

It is a surgery that is performed on an outpatient basis and that previously requires a tomography of the nose and paranasal sinuses in order to provide treatment for all the patient´s nasosinusal pathologies in a single surgical procedure.

This surgery is not for aesthetic purposes only for function.

After surgery, adequate follow-up by the otolaryngologist is required to avoid any complications due to inadequate healing or cleaning of the nose.
