Warts and moles on the face and neck
Small warts on the face and neck are common in all types of skin and do not pose problems for the patient’s health.
It is common to want to remove them for aesthetic purposes.
Warts appear in the areas of the body that are most exposed to sunlight, which is why it is common to find them on the face and neck.
Although they are benign, they can cause discomfort due to the rubbing of clothes with them.
They usually appear from the age of 25 to 30.
There are various treatments to remove them, among which are:
Surgical removal:
The wart is removed by a small surgery. This method allows the wart to be analyzed in a laboratory, the drawback is that it leaves a small scar.
Cryotherapy:
Liquid nitrogen. It is a safe and ambulatory method where through liquid nitrogen it is possible to freeze the wart and later it falls off.
CO2 laser:
It is a high-pressure vaporization technique, it is performed under local anesthesia so as not to cause discomfort to the patient and allows the removal of the wart without damaging the skin.
Does not leave scars or marks.
